The Little Poppy Photography Studio Takes Care of EVERYTHING.
The most important thing I want you to know before you join me here in my Tyler, Texas studio, is that I will take care of everything for your session. And when I say everything, I really mean it! Of course you have the option of bringing in a sentimental item or your own wardrobe items to use for your session, whether it’s for you or your newborn, but I even have a client closet with items you can use in your maternity session!
NOTE: When you come to the studio, the only thing to plan ahead for, is there is no bathroom on site! So please keep that in mind before your session.
Everything you need is already here!
For newborn sessions, everything from wraps, to headbands, to backdrops, to the tiniest cutest teddy bears (and other stuffies!!) you’ve ever seen are already here in the studio for you to use!
Before your session, I’ll send you a questionnaire, so I can get a feel for what you’re looking for. Then, I pull props and sets from my cache of cool stuff, and set them up so they’re ready when you get to the studio! Before the session starts, we look at it all together and we can make changes if you want them. And of course, if there are any sentimental items you’ve brought that you want included in your little one’s session, we’ll work those in!
My focus is YOU, or your NEWBORN.
When it comes to the style of images you’ll receive from your session, you can expect for you, or your newborn (or your family at large, for family sessions!) to be the star!
Although I do use some props in sessions, I like to keep things simple, and minimal, that way the real focus of the images is you. Because it’s way more fun to remember your newborn’s chubby cheeks than it is to have a bunch of images focused on props! As cute as they are, I think your newborn is cuter.
What Does the PROCESS Look Like?
I like to keep things simple, because growing your family has so many steps already! Like I said before, I take care of everything needed for your session, and even AFTER the session, I keep things streamlined. You can expect your gallery of proofing images within a few days, and then your gallery of completed favorite images 14 days after that!
Step One: Getting Booked!
Of course, you have to get booked! Pricing for sessions is straightforward, and it’s all outlined so you can take a look before you reach out to pick a date.
Step Two: Questionnaire
Before your session, I’ll send you a questionnaire to fill out that will give me a baseline for what to prep in the studio before your session! This is also when you can ask me any remaining questions you’ve got.
Step Three: The Session!
This is when we make the magic happen! You’ll come into the studio, or I’ll meet you at the location we’re using, and you get to watch (or participate!) while I take magical photos.
Step Four: The Images
A handful of days after your session, I’ll send you a proofing gallery! This has unedited images, for you to choose your favorites to receive in final versions. Then, you’ll get those about 14 days after choosing!
