Howdy! I’m Heather.
And I love capturing beautiful moments! I started this photography journey in 2011 and have been specializing in newborns since 2016, so I’ve been around the block a few times over.
Parents often call me the ‘baby whisperer’ and I’m honored to have that title. I don’t just take pictures – I record love. That’s my favorite part of what I do: all the love!
When I’m not behind the camera…
You can find me in the classroom! The trend through my work is that I love being around kiddos, which is why I decided to go back to school and get a teaching degree. Right now, I’m assisting in a pre-K classroom while I finish up that degree! So when I don’t have little ones in front of the camera, I’m making sure they’re safe and cared for in our schools, and honestly there’s nothing more fulfilling than that.
Well, maybe not nothing, because I also have two of my own at home! My 12 year old bonus daughter – and after going through a fertility journey myself (if you’re on that road… I see you, mama), my husband and I adopted an incredible three year old boy. My husband and those kids are my reason for breathing – which sounds so cliché when I say it, but I mean it with all of my soul.

Although I can come to you (or to a variety of locations!) for family photo sessions, for newborn sessions and other studio style shoots, we meet at my studio! I like to make sure everyone is prepared before they come to see me, so over on the experience page, I walk through EVERYTHING you can expect when you come in!

Heather is absolutely amazing! She has done all of our family pictures in the last 5 years and she never disappoints us! She’s always to patient with our kids and take time to get the best shot!
Heather has done a few different sessions for us and the pics have all turned out great! She has good prices and always has the cutest set ups for her mini sessions.
